The Orchard provides three B&B suites, architect-designed to provide privacy and luxury. Each suite features beautiful rammed-earth walls, glorious views of the Coolart Valley, private entry and separate balcony, very comfortable queen-sized bed, double lounge and large bathroom with a spacious spa and separate shower.
Our guests enjoy Helen’s homemade sweet and savoury biscuits, chocolates, soft drinks, fashion magazines, HDTV with DVD, audio system, library of DVDs, CDs, books and magazines, wireless internet access, infrared sauna, selection of teas, plunger coffee and bar fridge. Bathrooms are provided with bath salts, soaps, conditioners, moisturisers and shampoos, waffle weave bath robes, heated towel rails and hair dryers.
Guests can breakfast on their balcony, in their room or in the beautiful dining room, at their choice, or linger over Helen’s exceptional and extensive a’ la carte breakfasts for both food and speciality fruit drinks.
The Orchard features unlimited checkout on departure to allow guests to extend their enjoyment of the peace and quiet of our natural environment, including the sights and sounds of many native bird varieties and occasional visits from koalas, wallabies, wedge-tailed eagles and hawks.
The Orchard was independently recognised as an excellent getaway when it was selected by The Age and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers to be included in their publication “GOOD WEEKENDS AWAY – 100 best destinations (in Australia) for the passionate traveller”. The Orchard was one of only three getaways selected on the Mornington Peninsula and was the most highly-rated.
In 2010, The Orchard was selected by Channel 9′s Postcards program and filmed on a glorious Summer day and featured in a segment on the 28th February with Grant Hackett as presenter.
