The Orchard Luxury B&B accommodation at Red Hill South on the Mornington Peninsula was completed in the year 2000 and offers architect-designed accommodation for the privacy and comfort of guests.

The Orchard was independently recognised as an excellent getaway when it was selected by The Age and Sydney Morning Herald newspapers to be included in their 2005 publication "GOOD WEEKENDS AWAY - 100 best destinations (in Australia) for the passionate traveller" and was highly rated as "Very Good. We'd do it again". To get to the 100 getaways selected for the publication, a large number of sites were anonymously visited by reviewers, who provided first-hand, personal appraisals. The Orchard was one of only three getaways selected on the Mornington Peninsula, and was the most highly-rated along with Jill's at Moorooduc Estate.

Set overlooking apple and olive groves, extensive gardens, a picturesque lake and the beautiful Coolart Valley, its tranquillity is complimented by the sounds of many native bird varieties and occasional visits from koalas, kookaburras and wedge-tailed eagles. Visitors can stroll through the ten acres of park-like gardens and orchards or enjoy the beautiful country scene from their own private balcony while enjoying local wines and cheeses

Accommodation consists of three luxurious suites with private entries, providing a sophisticated and relaxed environment for guests. Each suite has a double ensuite spa, extremely comfortable queen-sized bed with crisp white waffle weave manchester, a separate lounge area, rammed earth walls and a private balcony overlooking the orchard, lake and sweeping Coolart Valley.

The suites are provided with homemade sweet and savoury biscuits, Haigs chocolates, fashion magazines, television, video player, radio, tea and coffee making facilities and a personal fridge. All bathrooms are provided with bath salts, soaps, conditioners and shampoos, waffle weave bath robes, heated towel rails and hair dryer.

Sip champagne on your own private balcony overlooking our tranquil valley, relax in your own double spa, curl up and nibble on chocolates and biscuits in your spacious suite, luxuriate in a warm soft bed, linger over breakfast.

The Mornington Peninsula has everything for the visitor - wineries, gourmet restaurants, golf courses, produce markets, historic sites, surf beaches - so much in fact, that you will be tempted to extend your break at the accommodation provided at The Orchard Luxury B&B.
