Trust classified property, Glen Isla (c1870), in a beachside
location on Phillip Island.
Discerning guests are offered the very finest accommodation in a secluded
heritage garden of 2 acres with pristine sandy beach is just 100 meters
away. Glen Isla accommodates only a small number of guests to ensure absolute
privacy and personal attention.
A fine food and wine focus: With a professional restaurant kitchen, Glen Isla serves a country-style
breakfast in the restaurant dining room overlooking the formal gardens.
Our resident chef will prepare a Table d’hôte dinner by prior
arrangement. The private cellar houses an extensive collection of Australian
varietals which are available to compliment your dining experience. Secure
off-street parking is provided for all guests.
The Anderson Suite Cottage, once part of the original Glen
Isla homestead, offers grand old-world heritage charm and elegance with
period furnishings and genuine Persian rugs; inside, king-size mahogany
four-poster bed, log fire, DVD/TV surround-sound system and climate-control
heating/cooling. The spacious en-suite bathroom features a large corner
spa and finest quality linens.
Guesthouse rooms have been thoughtfully purpose-architected,
elegantly decorated and furnished for comfort by a leading interior designer.
With a separate entrance, guests enjoy unlimited vistas of the gardens
from their veranda. Guesthouse rooms have private en-suite bathrooms,
walk-in dressing room with large luggage rack, individual climate control
heating/cooling air conditioning, refrigerator, tea/coffee facilities,
iron/ironing board, and hair-dryer. Personal hotel-style combination safes
are provided in all rooms.
