Breakfasts!



If there's one thing Inn.House members do very well, it's to prepare and serve a 'Brilliant Breakfast'!
What's more, they are happy to share the menus with you.

 

Tilwinda B&B

Tilwinda Pancakes
For 6 to 8 small pancakes:
½ cup PLAIN FLOUR
2 large EGGS
¾ cup MILK
1 teaspoon OIL
* Sift flour into a jug, whisk eggs with a fork
* Add eggs to flour and mix until smooth
* Gradually add milk mixing to a smooth batter (a few lumps won’t matter)
* Stand 30 minutes then mix in the oil and stir to combine
* Heat pan, grease well
* Pour 2-3 tablespoonfuls into pan, swirl around
* Cook till light brown on underside, dry on top
* Turn and cook other side
* Grease the pan if necessary and cook remaining pancakes
To serve dust with icing sugar and present Banana and Cinnamon sauce on the side.

BANANA and CINNAMON SAUCE
2 small RIPE BANANAS cut through the middle and in half
2 tablespoons BROWN SUGAR
¼ teaspoon CINNAMON
1½ tablespoons BUTTER or MARGARINE
Place ingredients into glass bowl in above order. Microwave on high 1-2 minutes until banana is cooked, a sauce will have formed around the soft bananas.

Ham and Cheese Puff

(Ingredients per person
)

Grease round pyrex dish,one cup capacity.
Take one slice of round Ham and line base of dish.
Beat 2 59g eggs and add teaspoon of dried chives, 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese.

Mix in 2 table spoons of natural yoghourt, pour into dish over the top of ham and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley.

Bake for 10minutes at 200 degrees C or place in Microwave oven for 1 minute at 70%. Check then another 45 seconds at 70%. If not cooked, 30 seconds on 100%.

To serve, turn out immediately with Herbed tomatoes and paprika shake.
